    I agree with HolidayInnGM “the guest is always right” BS is so old school! There are bad guests, not all are bad, but there are bad guests who just want FREE, FREE. FREE! In this modern day where more and more people feel entitled it is important to protect your business. Yes the hotel industry is a business with budgets that must be attained and goals met. Provide a great service, do your best to rectify issues, but if the guest wants gold bars as compensation, send them packing and move on the the good guest who appreciates your hard work.
